Seasonal Photography for Rental Properties

One set of photos cannot sell both winter and summer.

January: a cabin glowing amber against fresh snow, northern lights above the treeline. July: same cabin, same angle, birch canopy in full leaf, midnight sun on the lake. Two photographs that attract two completely different guests at two different price points. A cover image that converts a winter booking actively discourages a summer traveller.

Two seasons, two audiences

Winter guests book for the Arctic experience. Snow, warmth, isolation. Summer guests book for nature and light. Water, green, endless daylight. We photograph Finnish Lakeland and Lapland properties in both seasons. The visual language shifts completely between them: cool blues and amber warmth for winter, soft greens and golden hour for summer. Same property. Same camera positions. Different colour grade calibrated to the actual light of each season.

Second shoot costs less

The incremental cost of a seasonal reshoot runs 30 to 40 percent less than the first session. Scouting, styling direction, and shot planning carry over. Winter production is scheduled around the first significant snowfall. Summer production during peak foliage. Each session produces a complete listing set: hero exterior, interior sequence, details, lifestyle, and aerial.

Fresh images keep listings visible

Booking platforms reward updated content with improved search position. Properties that refresh imagery seasonally maintain higher visibility than those with static galleries. The algorithm reads new images as active management. Our Premium Resorts client updates listing images twice per year. Same properties, consistently booked.
