Aviapolis X.

A demountable event pavilion next to Helsinki Airport. Timber frame, glass, aluminium cladding. 150 square metres, designed to be taken apart and moved somewhere else entirely.

The building folds. Sharp planes of raw aluminium meet warm timber openings at unexpected angles. A diagonal glass strip cuts across the facade, glowing from within. Sculptor Villu Jaanisoo's artwork is pressed directly into the metal panels, so the surface itself becomes the art.
